New cooking school at Wingham
Bent on Food has recently opened a new cheese making and cookery school where Duck Under the Table previously resided in Bent Street, Wingham. Donna Carrier has organised some fabulous classes and many will feature celebrity chefs. We envisage this will be popular for many visitors and locals who enjoy the foodie experience and produce the Manning Valley has available. I was fortunate to attend the first class where Eric Robinson (the Other Chef) taught ten eater women and one guy to make choux pastry, sugar pastry and beautiful vanilla custard for our profiteroles. It was a great Saturday of learning and laughter and I would definitely recommend the classes to inspire your tastebuds and repertoire.
