A few of us spent the day together at the Mid North Coast Food Forum in Coffs Harbour recently, where we decied that we must get together to savour our wares more often, so here it is.
Book a table for our TWEAT up on 22nd November. $45 includes shared platters of local produce. Local cheeses and meats to start with platters of local pasture raised pork from Near River Produce and the fabulous duck from Burrawong Gaian. Local growers will also show their wares, its going to be a fabulous night. The lovely ABC rural reporter Kim Honan will join us as she is a keen supoorter of local produce, having taken the locavore challenge for a whole year. Local wines will also be available.
Beth and Hayden pride themselves on sustainable organic farming. Burrawong Gaian produces small numbers of premium quality pasture reared meat chickens, ducks, seasonally available game birds, and free range duck eggs
Andrew and Therese grow ethical pasture raised free range pork and chickens, superb organic fed, free range eggs, and a variety of traditional, field grown seasonal vegetables, garlic and citrus
Great Lakes Wines are based in Wooton, with a range of wines that includes whites that are crisp and clean, together with medium bodied reds that are easy drinking. Steve and Robyn will be joining us on the night to taste some of their wines with us.
