Blake Noble plays for Plates for MatesSunday 29th April1pm$10 cover charge plus food extra, raffles, BYOBlake Noble and the Ninja Stars outback at Bent on Food, The lads play unique, percussive based, high energy, feel good acoustic music that will have everyone up and dancing. They call it 'Percussive Acoustic Funk Roots'.
Not only do you get to enjoy the great sounds of Blake and the band, and enjoy the hospitality at Bent on Food, you will also be helping fellow hospitality industry chef Matt Golinski who was severely burnt in a house blase and lost his family. The idea is that restaurants, cafes, coffee shops, staff canteens, tuckshops, hotels, pubs, clubs, resorts, suppliers to the hospitality industry and members of the public do something to assist both Matt and The McComb Foundation. Dr Fiona Wood who researched and invented spray on skin used in burn treatments started the McComb Foundation and the hope is enough money will be raised to fund a research fellowship named in honour or Matt’s wife and daughters, the research fellowships would be to help people heal who have been both physically and emotionally hurt from burn injuries. A percentage of the gate charge along with a percentage of the food and drink takings will be donated to Plates for Mates |
