Winging into Wingham

The next morning, after breakfasting on freshly laid eggs, we move onto Wingham. The small country town has been put on the state's food map largely thanks to the work of one woman, Donna Carrier, whose Bent on Food cafe has won countless awards for championing regional produce.

I've visited the cafe many times and the food is always good. Now that it has grown to include a large, convivial garden, the setting for our lunch of spinace tortilla and pumpkin pizza, is equally appealing.
